Dies gilt insbesondere, wenn der Druckluftbedarf variabel ist. Wenn das System nicht effizient ausgelastet ist, besteht die Gefahr, dass Energie verloren geht und dass die Kompressoren und Anlagen unnötig verschleißen. Überhöhte und unnötige Kosten sind die Folge. Die Lösung: Eine zentrale Steuerungseinheit, die das Management der Kompressoren automatisiert und gewährleistet, dass Druckluft so energieeffizient wie möglich erzeugt wird. ## **Warum Sie sich für eine übergeordnete Kompressoren-Steuerung entscheiden sollten:** **Grund Nr. 1: Immer die optimale Maschinen einsetzen** Zentrale Steuerungseinheiten sorgen dafür, dass (zuerst oder als nächstes) immer die Maschine gestartet wird, die unter den jeweiligen Anforderungen den niedrigsten Energieverbrauch aufweist. Dabei wird der Einsatz Ihrer Kompressoren fortwährend variabel an den Druckluftbedarf angepasst, auch wenn dieser sehr schwankt. Ohne eine übergeordnete Steuerung wird die Startreihenfolge der Kompressoren hingegen von vornherein einmal festgelegt. Druckluftschwankungen können weniger flexibel abgefangen werden, was schnell dazu führen kann, dass Energie verschwendet wird. **Grund Nr. 2: Gleichmäßige Auslastung Ihrer Kompressoren** Durch die ausgewogene Verteilung der Arbeitsbelastung auf mehrere Kompressoren vermeidet eine zentrale Steuerungseinheit unnötige Spitzen und so die Überlastung der einzelnen Maschinen. Der Verschleiß der Druckluftstation wird durch die gleichmäßige Auslastung der Kompressoren deutlich reduziert. **Grund Nr. 3: Kompressoren mit variabler Drehzahl können vorrangig eingesetzt werden** Kompressoren mit variabler Drehzahl (bei Atlas Copco am Kürzel „VSD“ erkennbar – für „Variable Speed Drive“) sind die energieeffizientesten Maschinen für den schwankenden Druckluftbedarf. Eine zentrale Steuerungseinheit kann sicherstellen, dass drehzahlregelte VSD-Maschinen vorrangig vor Kompressoren mit fester Drehzahl (Last/Leerlauf) eingesetzt werden – oder umgekehrt, wenn es die Auslastung hergibt und energetisch sinnvoller sein sollte. **Grund Nr. 4: Stillstände planen** Schalten Sie Ihre Kompressoren aus, wenn sie nicht eingesetzt werden. Auch Stillstände lassen sich über eine zentrale Steuerungseinheit planen, so dass Sie keine Energie verschwenden und die Kosten senken. Das gilt übrigens auch für geplante Wartungstermine! **Grund Nr. 5: Geringerer Wartungsaufwand für Kompressoren** Die zentrale Steuerungseinheit setzt immer den optimalen Kompressor für die jeweilige Situation ein. Dies minimiert den Verschleiß und so auch den Wartungsaufwand für die Maschinen.
