Gerade mal 60 Sekunden benötigen die neuen Fräsautomaten für die Formgebung eines Brillenglases. Insgesamt zwölf dieser Maschinen arbeiten in Schwachbach in zwei Linien rund um die Uhr, an fünf Tagen in der Woche. Gemeinsam mit der neuen Produktionstechnik hat Apollo auch die Druckluftversorgung komplett erneuert. Denn der Druckluftverbrauch hat sich seither verdreifacht. Jede Maschine zieht etwa 800 Liter Druckluft pro Minute – entsprechend hoch sind die Bedarfsschwankungen, wenn einmal nicht alle Maschinen laufen. Das führt bei reinen Volllast-Leerlauf-Kompressoren zu hohen Energieverlusten. **VSD⁺-Technologie spart deutlich Energie** In der Druckluftstation arbeiten daher jetzt drei öleingespritzte Schraubenkompressoren des Typs GA 37 VSD⁺ FF von Atlas Copco. VSD steht für „Variable Speed Drive“, das heißt, die Motordrehzahl wird exakt an den jeweiligen Luftbedarf angepasst. Bei der FF-Version (Full Feature) sind ab Werk bereits Kältetrockner, Druckluftfilter, Kondensatableiter und -trenner sowie alle Komponenten für eine Wärmerückgewinnung im Kompressorgehäuse integriert. Eine nachgeschaltete Kombination aus Hochleistungsvorfiltern der Typen DD/PD, einem Aktivkohlefilter QDT und einem PDP-Staubfilter von Atlas Copco stellt sicher, dass die Druckluft gemäß ISO 8573-1 2010 Klasse 1 technisch ölfrei ist. ![Luftpost\_06\_2016\_Apollo\_800px](https://info.atlascopco-kompressoren.de/hs-fs/hubfs/luftpost_Bilder/Luftpost_06_2016_Apollo_800px.jpg?width=800&name=Luftpost_06_2016_Apollo_800px.jpg) *Die drei öleingespritzten und drehzahlgeregelten Schraubenkompressoren des Typs GA 37 VSD⁺ FF von Atlas Copco bei Apollo.* **Betriebsdruck konnte um 2 bar gesenkt werden** Die drei neuen Kompressoren von Atlas Copco arbeiten mit drei Kompressoren mit fester Drehzahl eines Wettbewerbers zusammen. Gesteuert werden alle Kompressoren zentral durch ein übergeordnetes Energiesparsystem ES von Atlas Copco. Dieses koordiniert die Maschinen so, dass sie möglichst immer an ihrem optimalen Betriebspunkt laufen. Mit der neuen Anlage konnte Apollo den Betriebsdruck um 2 bar senken – und damit seinen Stromverbrauch erheblich reduzieren. **Effizienzkontrolle mit SmartLink Energy** Mit Hilfe des Überwachungssystems SmartLink Energy lassen sich alle Effizienzparameter einfach und kontinuierlich verfolgen. Darüber hinaus kontrolliert das System die verbleibende Zeit bis zum nächsten Servicetermin, übernimmt die komplette Überwachung der Druckluftstation und schickt im Notfall eine Warnmeldung per E-Mail oder SMS auf das (mobile) Endgerät des verantwortlichen Technikers. **Wärmerückgewinnung rechnet sich** Apollo hat außerdem alle neuen Kompressoren mit integrierter Wärmerückgewinnung bestellt, da die komplette Infrastruktur hierfür im Unternehmen bereits vorhanden war. Das über die Plattenwärmetauscher erhaltene etwa 70 Grad Celsius heiße Wasser speist das Unternehmen in den Rücklauf seines Heizungssystems ein – und spart damit etwas 6000 bis 7000 Euro pro Jahr an Heizkosten. Die Wärmerückgewinnung wird sich also schnell amortisieren.
