Das Familienunternehmen wurde vor 30 Jahren gegründet, beschäftigt heute fünf Mitarbeiter und ist als leistungsfähiger CNC-Fertiger und Spezialist für Frästeile in der Region bestens bekannt. Der Druckluftbedarf in der Fertigung unterliegt, abhängig von Tageszeit und Fräsaufgabe, ständig sehr großen Schwankungen. ## Das Problem: Energiefresser: alter Kompressor mit fester Drehzahl Diese konnte der alte 15-kW-Kompressor, der mit fester Drehzahl und mit einem Betriebsdruck von 10 bar arbeitete, nur bedienen, indem er in kurzen Abständen stoppte und dann wieder anfuhr. Diese Arbeitsweise war nicht nur extrem ineffizient, sondern produzierte auch noch viel Lärm und Abwärme. > *„Schon auf den ersten Blick war klar, dass sich die Effizienz der Druckluftversorgung deutlich verbessern lässt“*, so Özkan Demir, technischer Berater bei Atlas Copco.  *„Ich stellte bei einer Strommessung 1900 Start-Stopp-Aktionen pro Woche fest. Eine unglaublich hohe Zahl.“* War der Betriebsdruck von 10 bar erreicht, lief die Maschine noch 15 Sekunden im Leerlauf und stoppte dann. Wenn der Druck nach einiger Zeit auf 8 bar abgefallen war, startete der Kompressor erneut. *„In diesem Moment zog die Maschine das Drei- bis Vierfache des Nennstroms“*, erläutert Demir. *„Diese Stromspitzen im Moment des Anlaufens sind fatal, weil der Energieversorger sich diese extra teuer bezahlen lässt.“ Außerdem entsteht jedes Mal beim Anfahren des Kompressors sogenannter Blindstrom. Dieser wird vom Verbraucher nicht genutzt, findet sich aber ebenfalls auf der Rechnung des Energieversorgers wieder. „Die ganze Situation war deshalb prädestiniert für einen drehzahlgeregelten Kompressor“,* erklärt Demir. ## [![Kostenlose Analyse: Senken Sie Ihren Stromverbrauch mit uns.](https://no-cache.hubspot.com/cta/default/5127979/56038bbb-a41f-47de-8d90-7829f0c34282.png)](https://cta-redirect.hubspot.com/cta/redirect/5127979/56038bbb-a41f-47de-8d90-7829f0c34282) ## Die Lösung für Energieeffizienz: Ein Drehzahlgeregelter Industriekompressor Die Wahl fiel auf einen [öleingespritzten Schraubenkompressor](https://www.atlascopco.com/de-de/compressors/products/air-compressor/oil-injected-rotary-screw-air-compressor) vom [Typ GA 15 VSD+ FF](https://www.atlascopco-kompressoren.de/de/kompressoren/einsatzbereich/industrial-z.b.-fuer-industrie-und-fertigungsbetriebe/ga-5-15-vsd?c=79) von Atlas Copco, der nun in der großen Fertigungshalle steht. Das Kürzel VSD kennzeichnet die Drehzahlregelung, FF die „Full-Feature“-Variante. Der 15 kW starke Industriekompressor ist luftgekühlt, benötigt nicht mehr Stellfläche als ein Kühlschrank und arbeitet besonders geräuscharm. > ![Nadine Hausmann, JH Maschinenbau](https://info.atlascopco-kompressoren.de/hs-fs/hubfs/Nadine%20Hausmann.jpg?width=182&name=Nadine%20Hausmann.jpg)*„Am Anfang habe ich öfter mal nachgesehen, ob der Kompressor überhaupt läuft, so leise ist er“,* berichtet Nadine Hausmann. Auch die Abwärme habe sich angenehm reduziert.   ## Kompressorsteuerung liefert genau benötigte Druckluftmenge Die integrierte Elektronikon-Steuerung regelt den Kompressor so, dass er immer genau die Druckluftmenge liefert, die gebraucht wird. Die maximale Liefermenge beträgt 2,5 m3/min bei 7,0 bar. Momentan werden 0,24 bis 1,0 m3/min benötigt. Die passende Druckluftqualität wird durch den integrierten Kältetrockner sowie einen Partikel- und einen Koaleszenzfilter sichergestellt. ![Ölgeschmierter, drehzahlgeregelter Schraubenkompressor Atlas Copco Kompressor GA 15 VSD+FF](https://info.atlascopco-kompressoren.de/hs-fs/hubfs/GA%2015%20VSD+FF.jpg?width=300&name=GA%2015%20VSD+FF.jpg)Mit dem Einzug des neuen Kompressors konnte der Betriebsdruck schrittweise von 10 bar auf inzwischen 7,5 bar gesenkt werden. Die Druckschwankungen sind dank Drehzahlregelung mit ± 0,1 bar minimal. Die Effizienzverbesserung allein durch den abgesenkten Betriebsdruck beziffert Demir auf mehr als 14 %. Hinzu komme noch die Reduzierung der Start-Stopp-Aktionen gegen Null, so dass die Drucklufterzeugung insgesamt um mehr als 20 % effizienter geworden sei.
