Wenn nicht, dann ist es allerhöchste Zeit! Wir erklären, weshalb es wichtig ist, den tatsächlichen Druckluftbedarf zu kennen und warum dieser der Schlüssel zu einer umweltfreundlicheren Produktion ist. Ganz einfach! Der Druckluftbedarf ist ein entscheidender Faktor, wenn es um die Kosten der gesamten Druckluftproduktion geht. Mehr Druckluft, mehr Kosten – und das in vielen Bereichen: Anschaffungskosten, Instandhaltungskosten, Energiekosten. Wir zeigen auf, an welchen Stellen Energie und gleichzeitig Geld gespart werden kann. **Nehmen wir an, Sie möchten in eine neue Druckluftstation investieren:** Wenn Sie den Druckluftbedarf Ihrer Druckluftanlage genau kennen, dann können Sie unter Umständen eine Menge Geld sparen. Zum einen kann Ihr nächster Kompressor vielleicht viel kleiner sein, als Sie denken – oder Sie brauchen vielleicht gar keinen neuen Kompressor, wenn Sie die Leckagen in Ihrer Druckluftanlage erkennen und reduzieren. Der alte Kompressor ist in die Jahre gekommen oder entspricht nicht mehr der Firmenphilosophie einer nachhaltigen Produktion. Wenn es also an der Zeit ist, in einen neuen Kompressor zu investieren, sollten Sie sich über die Strömungsmuster in Ihrem Betrieb im Klaren sein und auch die Betriebsschichten berücksichtigen. Viel zu oft werden die Spitzenproduktionszeiten an Wochentagen und der geringe Bedarf in der Nacht und am Wochenende nicht berücksichtigt. Mit einer Messung lassen sich die Strömungsmuster der Druckluftanlage analysieren. Selbst der effizienteste Kompressor ist nicht in allen Fällen die rentabelste Lösung. Während beispielsweise Kompressoren mit variablem Antrieb fast immer eine gute Lösung für Betriebe mit schwankendem Druckluftbedarf sind, kann ein preiswerterer Kompressor mit fester Drehzahl die perfekte Wahl für Produktionsumgebungen mit stabilem Druckluftbedarf sein. Darüber hinaus kann es auch Situationen geben, in denen eine Kombination von mehreren Kompressoren am besten geeignet ist. Die unten stehenden Beispiele zeigen den Unterschied zwischen einem korrekt ausgelegten Druckluftsystem und einem System, das nur auf der Grundlage des maximalen Luftbedarfs einer Fabrik ausgelegt ist. Beispiel 1 Installation mit zwei Zentrifugalkompressoren ZH1000. Ein Kompressor versorgt das Werk mit Druckluft, während der zweite Kompressor als Standby-Kompressor dient. Es zeigt sich, dass der Zentrifugalkompressor (ZH1000) bei einem Betrieb zwischen 75 und 100 % Last sehr effizient ist. Doch betrachtet man die gesamte Druckluftanlage tagsüber und während der Nachschichten, fällt auf, dass die Effizienz der Druckluftanlage nur durchschnittlich bis schlecht ist. Das ist auf die großen Schwankungen im Luftbedarf zurückzuführen, da der Kompressor für den geringeren Luftbedarf in der Nacht überdimensioniert ist. Beispiel 2 In dieser Anlage werden zwei Technologien von Kompressoren kombiniert, um die Energieeffizienz zu maximieren. Die beiden Zentrifugalkompressoren ZH400 können den maximalen Luftbedarf der Fabrik decken. Ein ZH400 läuft bei 100 % Last, um den Grundlastbedarf während des Tages zu decken, während ein Schraubenkompressor ZR700 VSD mit drehzahlvariabler Steuerung (VSD) den schwankenden Luftbedarf abdeckt. Im Gegensatz zur Zentrifugaltechnologie, verbraucht der ZR700 VSD weniger Strom, da der VSD-Antrieb eine Anpassung des Stromverbrauchs an den Luftbedarf ermöglicht, was den Energiebedarf senkt und ihn letztlich zu einer umweltfreundlicheren Lösung macht.
