### **Vorteil 1: hohe Energieeffizienz dank Drehzahlregelung**

Die neue Baureihe FD 100-300 VSD arbeitet erstmals mit einer [Drehzahlregelung (VSD-Technologie)](https://www.atlascopco.com/de-de/compressors/customerbenefit/vsd/vsd-vs-fixed-speed), die man aus den Kompressoren kennt. Die Drehzahlregelung macht die Kältetrockner wesentlich effizienter als Trockner, die mit einer „thermischen Masse“ oder zyklisch arbeiten.

[FD-VSD-Kältetrockner](https://www.atlascopco.com/de-de/compressors/products/air-dryers/refrigerant-air-dryers/fd-vsd) bieten wesentlich höhere Energieeinsparungen, da die Leistung des integrierten Kältemittel-Kompressors immer an den aktuell benötigten Luftbedarf angepasst wird. Dadurch arbeitet der Trockner insbesondere unter Teilllast deutlich effizienter als nicht drehzahlgeregelte Geräte.

### **Vorteil 2: niedriger Differenzdruck**

[FD-VSD-Kältetrockner](https://www.atlascopco.com/de-de/compressors/products/air-dryers/refrigerant-air-dryers/fd-vsd) haben eigene Wärmetauscher, um die Energieverluste durch den Differenzdruck, den der Trockner im Druckluftsystem verursacht, zu reduzieren. Die Effizienz in der Gesamtinstallation wird durch zwei Effekte gesteigert:

Der Differenzdruck ist im Vergleich zu herkömmlichen Kältetrocknern um bis zu 55 % niedriger. Das bedeutet, dass der Kompressor weniger arbeiten muss. Das kann, je nach Gerätegröße, pro Jahr einen Effizienzgewinn von mehreren tausend kWh ausmachen.

### **Vorteil 3: niedrige Leistungsaufnahme**

Die Leistungsaufnahme der [FD-VSD-Kältetrockner](https://www.atlascopco.com/de-de/compressors/products/air-dryers/refrigerant-air-dryers/fd-vsd) liegt um bis zu 65% unter derjenigen herkömmlicher Trockner ohne Drehzahlregelung und ohne Wärmetauscher.

### **Vorteil 4: niedriger, stabiler Drucktaupunkt**

[FD-VSD-Trockner](https://www.atlascopco.com/de-de/compressors/products/air-dryers/refrigerant-air-dryers/fd-vsd)erzeugen Druckluft mit einem stabilen niedrigen Taupunkt bei hoher Qualität (Reinheitsklasse 4 bei Wasser nach ISO 8573-1:2010, entsprechend einem Drucktaupunkt von maximal 3 °C).

### **Vorteil 5: Steuerung und Überwachung aus der Ferne**

Alle Trockner sind werksmäßig mit der[Elektronikon-Touch-Steuerung](https://www.atlascopco.com/de-de/compressors/druckluft-kompressoren-energie-sparen-effizient/-mehrere-kompressoren-vernetzen-und-zentral-koordinieren.html)ausgestattet, mit der sich In Kombination mit einer Ethernet-Verbindung und der [Atlas-Copco-Fernüberwachungs-Software Smartlink](https://www.atlascopco.com/de-de/compressors/druckluft-kompressoren-energie-sparen-effizient/effizienzmaximierung-druckluftanlage-durch-fernueberwachung.html.html) die Leistung des Druckluftsystems und alle Funktionen des Trockners fernüberwachen und steuern lassen.

**Die FD-VSD-Baureihe ist in sechs Baugrößen für Druckluft-Volumenströme von 100 bis 300 l/s (6-18 m3/min) lieferbar.**
