Denn Feuchtigkeit in der Druckluft kann zu Korrosion von Rohrleitungen führen, einen vorzeitigen Ausfall der Pneumatik verursachen oder Produktschäden zur Folge haben. Ein [Kältetrockne](https://info.atlascopco-kompressoren.de/blog/was-ist-ein-k%C3%A4ltetrockner)r ist daher für den Schutz von Systemen und Prozessen unverzichtbar.*   Unsere [FD-Kältetrockner](https://www.atlascopco.com/de-de/compressors/products/air-dryers/refrigerant-air-dryers/FD)arbeiten mit einem Kältemittelkreislauf und einem oder mehreren Wärmetauschern, um feuchten Dampf zu kondensieren und dann die Luft erneut zu erwärmen, damit sich in den angeschlossenen Rohren kein Kondenswasser bildet. Sie entfernen die Feuchtigkeit aus der Druckluft und erzielen niedrige Taupunkte von +3 Grad Celsius. Verschiedene integrierte Energiesparfunktionen verbessern die CO2-Bilanz der Trockner und senken die Betriebskosten. Da jede Anwendung individuelle Anforderungen mitbringt, bieten wir zyklische und nichtzyklische Trockner sowie Modelle mit Drehzahlregelung an. **Zyklische Trockner mit Saver-Cycle-Control**   Kältetrockner mit Saver-Cycle-Control sind vor allem bei Temperaturschwankungen und wechselnden Durchsätzen zur Trocknung der Druckluft geeignet. Durch das System der Saver-Cycle-Control kann der Kältetrockner zwischen gewissen Temperaturgrenzen starten und stoppen. Die Umgebungstemperatur und der Drucktaupunkt werden ständig überwacht und verglichen. Bei geringerer Wärmebelastung stoppt der Kältemittelkompressor. Hierdurch werden erhebliche Energieeinsparungen möglich.   FD-Trockner mit Saver-Cycle-Control sind für Volumenströme von 5 bis 1010 Litern pro Sekunde verfügbar ([FD 5 bis FD 1010](https://www.atlascopco.com/de-de/compressors/products/air-dryers/refrigerant-air-dryers/FD_plus)). Durch die Wärmetauschtechnik und Saver-Cycle-Control gewährleistet die Serie einen geringen Druckabfall von durchschnittlich unter 0,2 bar bei minimalem Energiebedarf.   ![LP\_11\_16\_FD\_006](https://info.atlascopco-kompressoren.de/hubfs/LP_11_16_FD_006.jpg)   **Integrierter Volumenstromwächter und Drehzahlregelung** In den Kältetrocknern[FD 120 bis FD 1010](https://www.atlascopco.com/de-de/compressors/products/air-dryers/refrigerant-air-dryers/FD_plus) sind standardmäßig Volumenstromwächter integriert. Läuft der Kompressor eine bestimmte Zeit ohne Last, schaltet der Volumenstromwächter den Kältemittelkompressor – in der Regel nach zehn Minuten – automatisch ab, um Energie zu sparen.   Trockner mit Drehzahlregelung (Variable Speed Drive, VSD) ermöglichen zusätzliche Energieeinsparungen, da der Energieaufwand automatisch exakt auf den Bedarf abgestimmt wird. Das Ergebnis sind niedrige Kosten über die gesamte Lebensdauer   **FD-Trockner im Überblick:**   **Direkte Expansionstrockner mit Saver-Cycle-Control (zyklisch)** Anwendungen: Temperaturschwankungen, wechselnde Durchsätze ►Hauptvorteil: Zyklische Trockner schalten den Kältemittelkompressor bei geringeren Lastbedingungen ab. Dies ermöglicht erhebliche Energieeinsparungen. ►Baureihe: [FD 5–1010](https://www.atlascopco.com/de-de/compressors/products/air-dryers/refrigerant-air-dryers/FD).   **VSD-Trockner (VSD = Variable Speed Drive)** Anwendungen: Temperaturschwankungen, wechselnde Durchsätze ►Hauptvorteil: VSD-Trockner passen den Energiebedarf an die tatsächlich verwendete Druckluft an.
