Betrachtet man einen Kompressor, wird man schnell feststellen, dass dort immer auch Öl vorhanden ist. Denn das Öl ist neben dem Schraubenelement ein weiteres Herzstück des Kompressors und daher unverzichtbar. Bildlich gesprochen ist das Öl das Blut des Kompressors, daher ist es auch besonders wichtig, die richtige [Kompressoröl-Auswahl](https://www.atlascopco.com/de-de/compressors/service/parts/oils) zu treffen. Grundsätzlich unterscheidet man hier zwischen mineralischen und synthetischen Ölen. Den Unterschied zwischen den beiden Öltypen werden wir Ihnen im nächsten Absatz näher erläutern. Kompressoröl: Mineralisch Mineralisches Kompressoröl unterscheidet sich von synthetischen Ölen im Grunde darin, dass diese eine kürzere Lebensdauer haben. Gehen wir hier näher auf die Standzeit des Kompressors ein, stellt man bei mineralischen Kompressorölen fest, dass diese für Betriebsstunden von 2 bis maximal 4.000 Stunden ausgelegt sind. Das Kompressoröl ist in öleingespritzten Schraubenverdichtern besonders wichtig. Die Antwort: Nein, auch wenn man es von Autos anders kennt. Ein Auto kann man mit verschiedenen Sorten mischen. Hier ist es nur wichtig auf die richtige Bezeichnung Beispiel 10W40 zu achten, da diese relativ einheitlich sind. Beim Kompressoröl ist das anders. Werfen wir einen Blick auf die Praxis: Hier kann man beobachten, dass es immer wieder zu Schwierigkeiten kommt, wenn Öle gemischt oder versehentlich falsch nachgefüllt werden. Doch was passiert, wenn es passiert ist? Eine Folge, die in der Praxis häufig auftritt, ist, dass das Kondensat nachträglich aufbereitet werden muss. Doch Achtung: Je nach Kompressorstation ist eine Aufbereitung im Nachhinein nicht möglich.
