In folgendem Interview mit Karsten Decker, Energirberater bei Atlas Copco gehen wir auf die Einsparpotenziale selbst bei kleineren Betrieben ein und was Sie darüber hinaus tun können, um die Kosten durch Leckagen zu senken.  Herr Decker, Sie und Ihr Team führen regelmäßige[Leckageortungen und Druckluft-Qualitäts-Audits](https://www.atlascopco.com/de-de/compressors/service/Efficiency/AIRSCAN) durch. Wo liegt der Hase im Pfeffer in deutschen Betrieben? „Wir stellen fest, dass die fest verlegten Rohrnetze selbst meist ganz in Ordnung sind. Aber an den Abgängen und Verzweigungen geht oft viel Luft – oder Druck – verloren.“ *Woran liegt das?* „Das Problem sind häufig ganz allgemein die Armaturen und Fittings. Y- und T-Stücke zum Beispiel, die zu Reibung und Verwirbelungen führen und damit zu Druckverlust; denn die Luft strömt an diesen Stellen nicht mehr ungehindert durch, sondern muss gegen einen Widerstand anarbeiten. Oder es sind Leitungskomponenten nicht ordentlich verschraubt, Fittings oder Druckregler sind defekt, Ventile oder Zylinder an den Maschinen undicht. Da addieren sich oft unendlich viele kleine Verluste zu einem Problem, das in der Summe richtig Geld kostet.“ [\>\>Videotipp: Leckagen im Druckluftnetz](https://youtu.be/eWH8wBVorMk) *Was kann ein Anwender dagegen sinnvollerweise tun?* „Als erstes sollte man es sich zu eigen machen, regelmäßig die Leitung abzulaufen. Die großen Löcher fallen einem dann sofort ins Ohr. Zudem ist anzuraten, turnusmäßig – etwa einmal im Jahr – die Installation mit einem Ultraschallgerät zu begehen, oder besser noch von Experten begehen zu lassen. Dabei werden auch die kleinsten Leckagen aufgespürt. Unsere Techniker beispielsweise sind natürlich auf alle möglichen Probleme sensibilisiert. Sie schauen bei der Begehung die Druckluftinstallation insgesamt an. Selbst wenn es eigentlich keine größeren Leckagen zu beklagen gibt, fallen ihnen zum Beispiel zu geringe Leitungsquerschnitte, zu viele Verzweigungen oder andere Ineffizienzen auf.“ [![Bereit, mehr zu erfahren? Bei einigen Werkzeugen, deren Leistung stark vom Fließdruck abhängt, macht sich das natürlich schon bemerkbar. So kann die Werkzeugleistung etwa bei Druckluft-Schleifmaschinen um bis zu 50 Prozent sinken, wenn der Fließdruck im Leitungsnetz von 7 auf 5 bar fällt.“ *Ab welchem jährlichen Druckluftverbrauch lohnt sich eine Leckagewartung für einen Betrieb?* „Eine Leckageortung lohnt sich eigentlich für alle Unternehmen; denn praktisch jedes Druckluftnetz weist Undichtigkeiten auf. Sie kostet bei uns etwa 950 Euro als Tagessatz, womit alle anfallenden Kosten abgedeckt sind. Der Betrag amortisiert sich in der Regel bereits nach wenigen Wochen.“ **Und das gehört zum Leckagemanagement mit Atlas Copco:** **1. Lokalisation der Druckluftleckagen bei laufendem Betrieb** - Entlang der gesamten Druckluftkette (Kompressor, Druckluftaufbereitung, Leitungsinstallation, Verbraucher) - Mit moderner Ultraschall-Ortungstechnik **2. Kennzeichnung aller georteten Leckagen** - Eindeutige Leckagenummer: Beschriftung und Dokumentation direkt vor Ort **3. Leckageortungsbericht für jede einzelne Leckagestelle** - Mit Bezeichnung und Foto - Bewertung nach wirtschaftlichen und ökologischen Gesichtspunkten (verursachte Kosten; CO2-Ausstoß) **4. Abschlussbericht** - Dokumentation aller georteten Leckagen - Übersicht über gesamten Druckluftverbrauch und Verluste, Energiekosten, CO2-Ausstoß **5.
