Druckluft ist eine der wichtigsten Ressourcen im Produktionsprozess und ein wesentlicher Kostenfaktor. Unternehmen verbrauchen weit mehr Energie, als bei optimierter Steuerung und Regelung für die Deckung des tatsächlichen Druckluftbedarfs erforderlich wäre. Energiekosten können rund 70% der Lebenszykluskosten eines Kompressors sowie über 40% des gesamten Stromverbrauchs eines Produktionsbetriebs ausmachen. ## Kompressoren effizient regeln mit dem Optimizer 4.0 Der [Optimizer 4.0](https://www.atlascopco.com/de-de/compressors/service/efficiency/airoptimization)steuert volumenstromabhängig bis zu 30 Kompressoren und 30 Trockner nach dem tatsächlichen Druckluftverbrauch der Gesamtanlage mittels CAN-Bus. Gleichzeitig können bis zu 3 Druckluftnetze überwacht werden. Die Visualisierung der zentralen Steuereinheit erfolgt optional über das SMARTVIEW-System. Diese Web-Browser-basierte Anwendung ermöglicht es, Daten und Grafiken auf jedem Computer im selben LAN anzuzeigen und zu analysieren. Einfaches Erstellen von ad hoc-Bedarfsanalysen des Volumenstroms oder des Energieverbrauchs am Optimizer oder dem Endgerät im selben LAN-Netzwerk. Durch die neue Steuerungsgeneration wird die Effizienz von Druckluftinstallationen nachhaltig gesteigert, Energiekosten eingespart und die Umweltbilanz verbessert. Der Optimizer ermöglicht den kontinuierlichen Einsatz von VSD-Kompressoren, die bei variabler Belastung den höchsten Wirkungsgrad aufweisen. So kann der Gesamtenergieverbrauch von Systemen auf ein Minimum reduziert werden.
