Ob Lebensmittelverpackung, CNC-Bearbeitung, Abwasseraufbereitung oder eine andere Anwendung, überall wird Druckluft benötigt. Kompressoren spielen hierbei eine wesentliche Rolle, dass Ihre Produktion sicher und ohne Probleme weiterläuft. So können Sie sicherstellen, dass Ihre Produktion weiterläuft, bis Ihr Hauptaggregat repariert werden kann. Ein Backup-Kompressor oder auch Reservekompressor ist genau das: eine Maschine, die als Reserve für Ihren vorhandenen Kompressor dient. Er dient als Sicherheitsnetz und ist sofort einsatzbereit, wenn Ihr vorhandener Kompressor ausfällt. Es ist besser, vorausschauend zu handeln und einen zweiten Kompressor für solche Fälle bereitzuhalten, als plötzlich mit einem defekten Kompressor dazustehen und so einen Produktionsstillstand zu gefährden. Ein Standby-Kompressor ist mit einem Reservekompressor vergleichbar, aber im Gegensatz zu letzterem steht er nicht nur als Versicherungspolice in Ihrer Anlage herum. Stattdessen wird ein Standby-Kompressor an Ihr Druckluftsystem angeschlossen und schaltet sich auch ein, wenn z.B. ein erhöhter Produktionsbedarf besteht. Denn nicht nur der Ausfall eines Kompressors wird damit abgefangen, sondern auch Bedarfsspitzen bei erhöhter Produktion können si mühelos überbrückt werden. Redundanz bei Kompressoren ist ganz einfach: Zwei (oder mehr) Kompressoren arbeiten parallel und wechseln sich ab, um den Bedarf zu decken - aber jeder der beiden Kompressoren ist in der Lage, den gesamten Bedarf an Druckluft allein zu decken. Das heißt, wenn eine der Einheiten ausfällt, übernimmt die zweite Einheit den gesamten Bedarf und die Produktion läuft weiter. Die Vorteile liegen auf der Hand: - keine Ausfallzeiten - keine Auswirkungen auf den Gewinn und - keine verdorbenen Produkte Auch bei der Planung von Wartungsarbeiten ist dies von Vorteil, da die Wartung jederzeit durchgeführt werden kann - so müssen Sie nicht mehr nach Feierabend, an Wochenenden oder Feiertagen eine Wartung planen und vornehmen.
